The SEAMHex 3D printer is a high-speed printer that can print at a remarkable speed of up to 1 m/s. Its hexapod table kinematics allow simultaneous movement in multiple axes, enabling 6-axis printing, tilting up to 45° and a torsional movement of 20°. With a heated print bed, you can adjust the temperature according to your requirements or the type of plastic used.

2. Extrusion unit

The SEAM unit (from 1A Technologies) is revolutionizing industrial 3D printing. Integrated into the SEAMHex Industrial 3D Printer, it extrudes granulate material at high temperatures and removes them layer by layer through its nozzle. With an impressive output rate of 10 kg/h, its most notable feature is the patented bypass nozzle, which enables dynamic regulation of material output. This capability enables seamless transitions without plastic discharge. In addition, the discharged material is regranulated and reused, enabling sustainable production through a closed recycling loop. The extrusion unit can extrude various plastics, elastomers, polypropylene and even a PA6 with 40% carbon fiber content.

3. Hexapod printing bed

The hexapod table of the SEAMHex 3D printer is based on parallel kinematics, which makes it exceptionally fast. With a printing speed of up to 1 m/s, the SEAMHex is one of the fastest 3D printers in the world. Its hexapod kinematics offer 6-axis printing capabilities, including tilting up to 45° and torsional movement at 20°. The print bed is versatile and offers a heated option as well as a large print format of 1,100 mm x 800 mm x 600 mm. It can handle parts weighing up to 100 kg, making it suitable for various applications.
