We are a partner in the SAB joint project: TIG 3D AM cell – development of innovative 3D welding technology and system for adaptive high-rate AM metal processing with graded component properties
Our sub-topic is: Conception, design and implementation of an inherently rigid and thus transportable machine frame with a highly flexible, parallel kinematic movement device and integrated laser protection
The aim of the project is the development and prototypical construction of a welding system with a new type of welding technology and the associated digital infrastructure. The transportable system is used for the economical production of new and replacement parts from high-quality materials or in-situ material combinations.
